Paton Constructions is looking for a Craftsman to join their carpentry team.

You will be a qualified carpenter with experience in residential carpentry, applying your skills to achieve a high standard of finish throughout your trade. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to OH&S principles. Ability to provide your own tools, PPE and reliable transport are necessary to be successful in this role. Any additional industry relevant qualifications and tickets will be a strong advantage. For this role it is necessary to hold an OH&S White Card and Asbestos Awareness Card (both of which are easy to obtain).

Job Tasks & Responsibilities

·         All aspects of carpentry

·         Own tools and transport

·         Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills

·         Coordination of sub-contractors & trades

·         The ability to interpret drawings and plans

·         Working on the tools and drive the sub-contractors for project delivery

·         The ability to present the site adequately with relevant Work Health & Safety requirements

·         Trade qualifications and/or relevant Tertiary qualifications required
